Putting technology to work

At ERICH JAEGER, we like to be ahead of the game – in our own trade as well as with the possibilities the modern world has to offer.

It all started with a request for a plant tour during the Corona pandemic: by using Microsoft HoloLens, groups of visitors were able to immerse themselves in the world of ERICH JAEGER at their own desks at home. Employees quickly discovered the advantages of HoloLens in other areas as well.

Especially for technical tasks, we now increasingly rely upon the advantages of Mixed Reality. For example, design engineers at the development site can directly experience the challenges in practical use of our products. With professionals working together in a virtual environment, time-consuming communication with photo documentation, lengthy descriptions and cost-intensive business trips are a thing of the past.

The use of graphic elements, notes or technical drawings further expands the range of possibilities when using mixed reality. Even if the new technology takes a bit of getting used to, it will soon be as indispensable to our everyday work as the laptop or smartphone.
