The Wetterau Bulls - American Football in Central Hesse

The Wetterau Bulls, founded in 2014, are an American football club from Wölfersheim in the Wetterau region and, in addition to a men's and a women's team, also field three youth teams - U13, U16 and U19. Youth work plays a central role in the club. Dominik Bantle: "It is important to us that we can give children and young people the opportunity to play in one of our teams, regardless of their background or financial situation. We provide the equipment and, if necessary, I also pick up the boys and girls personally from home - we have a relatively large catchment area and it can take 1-2 hours to get to training by public transport. But this should not be an obstacle for our team members. Everyone should have the chance to come to us - from my experience, the joint training and games work wonders for the self-confidence of the children and young people, because in American football all players are equally important and so the players experience real appreciation from their teammates. We're all the more grateful to have sponsors who support us financially."

Support for regional clubs

Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co KG is an internationally active automotive supplier. The company manufactures cables and connectors for the electrical connection of towing vehicles and trailers. In the fall of 2022, ERICH JAEGER joined the Wetterau Bulls as a sponsor and is visible on the club's website as well as on flyers and advertising boards. In the next season, which starts in April, the company's logo will then be visible on the helmets of the men's team. Ralf kleine Brörmann explains: "As an internationally active company, we are also strongly rooted in our region and would like to support local clubs in their daily work. We have come to know the Wetterau Bulls as an up-and-coming club with a very likeable team that is making a difference in our home region of Central Hesse. That's why I'm looking forward to our cooperation."
