Company anniversary at ERICH JAEGER
On November 3, there was something to celebrate at Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co KG in Friedberg, Hesse: the company celebrated its 95th anniversary. In one of the company's warehouses, which was stylishly redecorated as a venue for the event, the employees of the automotive supplier looked back on an eventful history. In addition to the staff, the supervisory board of AdCapital AG, the owner of Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co. KG, was also present.
ERICH JAEGER - Company foundation in 1927
On November 1, 1927, Erich Jaeger GmbH started business operations in Bad Homburg, Hesse, as a manufacturer of electrical installation materials. In the course of the 1950s, company founder Erich Jaeger then consistently focused the product range on electrical accessories for the expanding motorcycle and automotive industry. In 1986, the company developed the groundbreaking 13-pin trailer connector together with renowned automobile manufacturers, which is still known today as the Jaeger System.
Increasing internationalization and expansion of markets
At the beginning of the 1990s, the predecessor company of AdCapital AG joined Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co. KG as a shareholder. In 1999, Adcapital AG increased its share to 100%. The 2000s were characterized by a strong internationalization - in addition to two production subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and China, ERICH JAEGER established several sales offices throughout Europe. In the 2010s, the company then ventured across the pond and opened a sales office in the USA and a production plant in Mexico.
Company anniversary among the workforce
On Nov. 3, Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co. KG invited its employees to celebrate its 95th anniversary in a redecorated warehouse at its headquarters in Friedberg, Hesse. Over finger food and drinks, Dr. Andreas J. Schmid, CEO of AdCapital AG and, since the beginning of October, also Managing Director of ERICH JAEGER, and Dr. Sonja Zobl-Leibinger, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of AdCapital AG, paid tribute to the company's successful history and provided an outlook on the coming years. The evening then continued with lively discussions among the staff about the past and of course also the future of Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co. KG.
