ERICH JAEGER strengthens digital expertise
New driver assistance systems record a lot of data from the vehicle’s environment and provide the driver with this data via the respective cables and connectors. Processing such data allows for applications as for example a Birdview-System, which supplies drivers with a real-time 360°-view of their vehicle.
Digital data connectors for trailer operation – work in progress
ERICH JAEGER – the specialist for connectors between trailers and towing vehicles – develops and sells respective products; these include different High-Speed Interface data connectors, for example based on the proven 15-pin ISO connector system for commercial vehicles or the American standard SAE J3008 for passenger cars like SUVs and agricultural machinery. The trailer connectors for High-Speed Interface (HSI) data transmission use the coax or 2-wire technology.
To further strengthen the expertise in the area of digitalization, the company could win over Mr. Marc Tielebörger as new Key Account Manager dedicated to projects concerning data connectors. Marc Tielebörger has already gained more than ten years of experience within the automotive industry being active for companies such as Magna or Maxion Wheels. Thus, ERICH JAEGER will be able to provide its customers with new impulses and solutions concerning connectors for digital data transmission.
