Design Engineer for high frequency technology (m/f/d)

Job description

To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the greater Frankfurt / Main area, we are looking for a Design Engineer for high frequency technology. Your task will be the development of data connectors for the automotive industry from the start of the project to the start of production.

Our products are used for the connection of trailers and towing vehicles and are applied by all many major manufacturers from the passenger car, commercial vehicle and agricultural machine industry.


  • Execution of investigations in the areas of signal integrity (SI) and EMC on data connectors

  • Design, construction and evaluation of measurement fixtures and adapters for SI investigations

  • Assumption of SI design in development projects of data connectors

  • Participation in standardization committees and contact person for customers on the subject of signal integrity

  • Supervision of projects from project start to series production in cooperation with project management

  • Support of colleagues on site during series start-up in China, Mexico or the Czech Republic


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering or high frequency engineering

  • Experience in the areas of signal integrity and transmission technology

  • Experience in RF measurement techniques such as vector network analyzer

  • Experience with simulation tools, e.g. CST Studio Suite

  • Knowledge of automotive Ethernet (MDI / PHY)

  • Good knowledge of English
