ESG Manager / Sustainability Manager (m/w/d)
Job description
As a global manufacturing company, the sustainability of our processes and products is anchored in our strategy. Support us in the development and implementation of our ESG strategy in Friedberg in the greater Frankfurt / Main area.
Tasks
- Integration of the EU taxonomy and CSRD standards into our business processes
- Development and implementation of a holistic ESG strategy and definition of sustainability targets in cooperation with the management team
- Evaluation and classification of our activities and processes
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Identification of potential for improvement
- Contact for all sustainability-related topics
- Preparation of sustainability reports and other communication for internal and external target groups
- Participation in the development of sustainability reporting for financing partners/banks and shareholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as environmental sciences or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of the EU taxonomy / CSRD and its application in the classification of sustainable economic activities
- Experience with sustainability reporting
- Strong communication and moderation skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to the target group
- Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret and explain data
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
