Commercial Director (m/f/d)

Job description

To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the greater Frankfurt / Main area, we are looking for a Commercial Director who will assume overall responsibility for the commercial area of the globally active Erich Jaeger GmbH + Co KG. The main tasks include the entire financial management of the group, including P&L, balance sheet, liquidity as well as the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, budgets and forecasts.

 

Tasks

  • Establishment of a cash management system and active cash flow management
  • Preparation of variance analyses, identification of action required and initiation of corresponding measures
  • Development and management of controlling structures and KPI systems to support data-driven corporate management 
  • Development of a comprehensive value enhancement concept and its consistent implementation
  • Management and collaboration in transformation projects
  • Leadership and identification figure for employees

Requirements

  • Completed (university) degree in economics with strong commercial knowledge
  • Professional experience in management consulting, auditing or investment banking
  • Relevant operational commercial experience, preferably in a medium-sized industrial environment
  • Dynamic implementation of change processes in restructuring or transformation phases
  • Experience in building, leading and developing a high-performance finance team
  • Familiar with working with a financial investor (private equity), in the area of company acquisitions (M&A) or the integration of business units (PMI)
  • Competent in the use of common tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and familiar with ERP and accounting systems as well as confident in project management and presentation of results
