Job description

EP Connectors GmbH is a subsidiary of the globally operating JAEGER Group. Together, we are focusing on growth and have therefore established a new cable manufacturing site in Bruchsal near Karlsruhe. Here we produce high-quality cables for well-known companies from the automotive and commercial vehicle industry. Our corporate goal is to establish a cable production of the "Made in Germany" brand with state-of-the-art machines and equipment at the Bruchsal site.

To strengthen our team, we are searching for a Quality Technician. As a member of our quality team, you will be deeply involved in the planning of new products and the analysis of customer requirements including responsibility for test planning, production processes and product release as well as production and quality monitoring.

Tasks

  • You are a team member in the project team as Q-technician in the advance planning of new products as well as the analysis of customer requirements and their feasibility/implementation
  • You are responsible for test planning, production processes and product release as well as manufacturing and quality monitoring
  • You are available as a competent contact person to our customers, suppliers, production and partner companies for series process realization in compliance with Q-relevant specifications
  • You will take on interesting tasks for the design and further development of our QM system in the direction of integrated management systems in cooperation with our head office
  • You initiate and track measures and ensure the transfer of quality-relevant data/information to production
  • You track the correct application of quality instruments and monitor the compliance with Q targets

Requirements

  • You have a degree as a technician / engineer in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable technical education
  • You are familiar with the requirements of quality management and their core tools in the automotive industry, such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA, as well as with the customer requirements of automotive manufacturers
  • You already have initial auditing experience (VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949)
  • First knowledge of DIN EN ISO 50001, DIN EN ISO 14001 would be desirable
  • Professional experience in industrial manufacturing is required
  • Ideally, you should have experience in the supply industry in the area of cable manufacturing
  • You are a strong communicator, flexible and able to work under pressure and are characterized by systematic work and analytical thinking
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
