Job description
To strengthen our team in Friedberg in the greater Frankfurt area, we are looking for an engineer in the field of electronics development for vehicle electrics and electronics.
The control of light signals on the trailer or an electrically deployable trailer coupling is a complex process where safety on the road is paramount. Support us in the development of control units for such and similar functions.
Our products are used by many major manufacturers in the passenger car, commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery industries.
Tasks
Planning and execution of development projects in electronics development of control modules for the automotive industry
Project coordination with customers, suppliers and internal interfaces
Requirements management in the area of software
Creation and documentation of software for automotive applications
Implementation of the requirements of ISO 26262 (functional safety) in the area of software
Implementation and documentation of software tests
Requirements
Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable
Sound knowledge of the C programming language
Experience in the area of AUTOSAR is an advantage
Experience in the area of ISO 26262 (functional safety) regarding software development is an advantage
Basic knowledge of automotive, electronics and circuit design
Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
